Hey there.
I guess if you’re reading this you want to know more about me. What is there to tell?
Well, the basics: I’m 25, a Sagittarius/Boar/Elder Tree. I’m fat and moody, have been since I was thirteen. A lot of the women in my family (hell, all but a couple) are fat, but far less of them are moody than I’d like – sometimes it feels like I’m the only crazy one. Other than that, I have a full time job as a residential services worker (with DD people) which takes up a lot of my time because we’re short-staffed. I generally work an average of 50 hours a week, so there’s not a lot left over for extras. Then in April, as I apparently didn’t feel that my life was “too busy” enough I went and got a job at the local museum as a Girl Friday.
I’m the proud owner of a 2009 Hyundai Tuscon, which is a freaking awesome vehicle to drive in the boonies of Alberta. Let me tell you. It’s good on gas, too. I was impressed. I’m also proudly owned by m’cat, Karma. And I live on a ranch with my parents AND I help feed, water, and care for 28 horses. Despite that I sometimes get frustrated and wish I lived in the city. Eventually I come to my senses and remember that despite the hardships, the country really IS the best place in the world to live.
Craft-wise, there’s not much. I’ve never had a mentor, nor attended a course. I pretty much have learned off books and through experimentation and personal experience. Of course, I find that the greatest teachers are in the natural world around me!
I’m book-addicted and I like swapping mail art. If you’re interested, get ahold of me and we’ll set something up!
On the blog I may refer to myself as Cenire, which is my craft name. I also refer to myself as Jaelle, which is my other name (technically, initials) in RL.
Oh. And if you haven’t heard this yet I HAVE BEEN PROMOTED!!! WOOT!
And I’m a feminist zombie survivor!

Hey there! I stumbled across your blog via someone else’s link on Twitter and I’ve read through nearly all of your entries. I have SO much I’d like to talk to you about, but I’m a little skittish about doing it here out in the open. I’ve put my email address on here– if you’re comfortable opening up a line of communication, would you please email me? I don’t want to come across as that creepy “out of nowhere” person, so I’ll suffice it to say right now that I currently have Arin Murphy-Hiscock’s book sitting beside me and I’m only a few pages in. It would be great to talk to you.
